When to use
Use after the hook when the meeting has three or more beats. Do not use for a two-slide note. Do not use Cloud architecture boxes for an agenda.
Guidelines
Numbered beats in time order. The action title says what will be true when we leave, not “Agenda.”
Example
Harbor steering
Today we lock the wave plan, then the cutover risks.

Ask of this roomWorking session · 25 min
Four beats, action title states the meeting outcome. Steal the numbered journey, not a table of contents dump.
Rules
- Three to five beats. Each beat is two to five words.
- Title is an action sentence about the meeting, not the word Agenda.
- Time or duration may sit in the source line, not as a competing title.
User recipe
Pick family: Consulting exhibit first.
Insert objects:
- Text: title (action sentence about meeting outcome)
- Text: kicker, source line (optional duration)
- Text: numbered beats (3–5, each 2–5 words)
Assemble:
- Title states what will be true when meeting ends
- Numbered beats in time order

Anti-patterns
- Ten-line appendix as “agenda.”
- Beats that are speaker names.
- A dark keynote agenda with six paragraphs.
